Clean Carpets for Healthy Air Quality: Even the best vacuums cannot remove the dry pollutants such as dust, dust mites, pollen, pet dander and other allergens. Regular carpet cleaning with a powerful truck mounted system will extract these pollutants and contribute to a healthier indoor living environment.
Maintain Carpet Appearance: Over time tracked in soil, cooking vapors, etc. will collect on the surface of your carpet. These sometimes oily residues attract more dry soils, and result in unsightly spotting and dulling of colors. Regular cleaning will remove these soils and help to maintain your carpet’s original beauty.
Protect Your Investment by Extending the Life of Your Carpet: Dry soils such as pollen, dust, and sand begin to accumulate beneath the surface of your carpet. Even the finest vacuum cleaners cannot remove all of this debris. Over time, and with normal foot traffic, these particles begin to abrade the carpet fibers. This contributes to premature wear of the carpet, and results in unsightly pile crush (i.e. traffic lanes) that cannot be corrected. A good carpet cleaner with the proper steam cleaning systems will extract these soils and extend the life of your carpet.
Both Shaw and Mohawk, the two largest carpet manufacturers in the world, recommend cleaning residential carpet every 12 to 18 months. Both recommend hiring a professional, I.I.C.R.C. certified firm for carpet cleaning. Commercial locations or areas with high foot traffic will require more frequent cleaning.
Both Shaw and Mohawk, the two largest carpet manufacturers in the world, recommend “steam” cleaning, also called hot water extraction cleaning. This is the method used by Absolute Best Cleaning.
Yes, we utilize truck mounted equipment. Our powerful cleaning equipment is mounted in our truck, and stays in your driveway. We only bring the vacuum and water lines, and a cleaning tool into your home. This equipment has a much more powerful vacuum system than a portable unit which helps to more effectively extract the contaminants from your carpet. This system also generates more heat and higher water pressure than a portable unit which enables us to properly sanitize your carpets. The soils and contaminants are extracted from your home and directed to a waste tank on our truck for proper disposal.
Yes, we have been trained to clean hand made Orientals and other fine wool rugs. We are certified by the Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification to clean such rugs. When cleaning an investment grade oriental or wool rug, we often remove the rug from the home and clean it in our rug cleaning plant. With the specialized equipment in our plant we are able to perform a deeper, more thorough rug cleaning.
Yes, we will move most furniture that can be safely moved such as sofas, chairs, and tables. However, there are certain items that we typically do not move such as pianos, electronics, china closets, entertainment centers, large beds, dressers, etc. We recommend that you remove all small items, plants, knickknacks, etc prior to carpet cleaning.
The vast majority of spots will not reappear after cleaning. However, sometimes deep stains that are in the backing of the carpet may wick to the surface as the carpet dries. This wicking typically occurs shortly after cleaning (within 48 hours or so). If wicking does occur, contact Absolute Best Cleaning as soon as possible and we will attempt to rectify the situation.
It is okay to walk on your carpet immediately after cleaning provided that shoes or feet are clean. Absolute Best Cleaning will be happy to provide protective shoe covers to keep the carpet as clean as possible during the drying period. We do not recommend putting any furniture or other items that may bleed or rust back onto the carpet until it is completely dry. It is safest to wait a day or two to remove the blocks and tabs that we place under furniture legs.
No. Cleaning your carpet will actually extend its life by removing the particles beneath the surface that are grinding against and wearing out the fibers. Certain older carpet cleaning methods and detergents (e.g. “Shampooing”) did leave sticky residues behind that attracted soil. However, a professional grade carpet steam cleaner will minimize the residue left in your carpets.
Yes. We strongly recommend the application of a stain protector after carpet cleaning. These products seal each fiber with a protective coating. This coating will give you more time to clean stains and spots before they soak completely into the fiber and cause permanent damage. These protective coatings will also help the carpet and upholstery to resist dry soiling, and will help you remove more dry soils with your vacuum cleaner.
Many of our cleaning solutions contain deodorizers that will help to eliminate odors in your carpets and furniture. Our deodorizers leave behind a clean, fresh scent. For extreme odor problems, such as pet damage, we may utilize specialized enzyme based solutions, as well as odor encapsulating post cleaning treatments.
Yes, our products are safe for you, your children and your pets. Our pre-sprays and rinses are biodegradable and non-toxic. We also have the ability to steam clean carpet with “Certified Green” products for our customers who may be chemically sensitive.
The Institute of Inspection, Cleaning and Restoration Certification (the “I.I.C.R.C”) recommends upholstery cleaning every 12 to 18 months. Regular furniture cleaning will not only improve the appearance of your furniture, but it will also extend its useful life and contribute to cleaner air quality and a healthier living environment for you and your family.
The most effective upholstery cleaning method is steam cleaning, or hot water extraction. However, certain fine fabrics such as chintz should be dry cleaned. We have the ability to dry clean, or steam clean your fabric. Absolute Best Cleaning also utilizes a low moisture encapsulation method on certain fabrics. We will evaluate your upholstery, and then utilize the most effective furniture cleaning process.
First, we apply the tile cleaning solution and scrub every square inch of surface area. We then use our powerful truck mounted cleaning equipment to rinse and extract the soiled solution. Our powerful system deep cleans your floor by vacuuming the soiled solution up off of the floor and directing it to a waste tank in our truck for proper disposal.
Yes, we also offer marble cleaning, limestone cleaning, and granite cleaning services. We clean most natural stone surfaces with the same systems that we use to clean ceramic tile.
Grout and natural stone surfaces are porous and will absorb spills and oily soils. It can be very difficult to clean or extract these soils once they have deeply penetrated the surface of your grout or stone. The sealing process fills these pores with a clear sealer, but does not change the appearance of the surface. The grout sealer will make it easier for you to properly clean the surface, and will protect the surface from becoming deeply, permanently stained.
Your tile or stone surface will be dry by the time we leave the home, and you can walk on the floor shortly thereafter (we recommend thirty minutes or so). However, we recommend leaving the floors uncovered (no rugs) for a few days to let the sealers fully cure.
Always use a neutral pH tile or stone cleaning product. Tile cleaning agents that are either acidic (e.g. vinegar) or highly alkaline (e.g. bleach) will prematurely degrade your grout sealer. Also, be careful to never use acidic cleaning agents, vinegar, or lemon juice, on calcium-based stones like marble or limestone. Acids will react with the calcium in the stone and alter the appearance (dull) the surface.
Our drapery cleaning process is very similar to our upholstery cleaning process. First we vacuum the treatments, and then we use the injection-extraction cleaning method to clean them. We inject a cleaning fluid into the fabric and then vacuum out the soiled solution. We utilize portable cleaning equipment for drapery cleaning and window shade cleaning. We have the ability to utilize either a dry cleaning solution, or a wet cleaning solution, depending on the fabric. We clean all of the Hunter Douglas window shade products as well. We offer silhouette cleaning, luminette cleaning, duette cleaning, pleated shade cleaning, and roman shade cleaning.
Absolute Best Cleaning also offers Green Cleaning services upon request. We still use our state of the art truck mounted steam cleaning systems for green cleaning, but can utilize certified “Green” cleaning chemicals based upon our customers’ needs.
