Just cleaned this white sectional sofa for a customer in Madison. Most upholstery cleaners inwardly wince when a customer with a white cotton sofa calls. White cotton can be extremely difficult to clean and the cellulose in the cotton sometimes turns brown, especially if the wrong cleaning solution is used or if the sofa stays wet for too long. This sofa, however, was a breeze to clean because it is upholstered in Ethan Allen’s “Performance Fabric.” I’m not sure what the fiber content is, but it cleaned up beautifully. If you like white furniture, this is a great product. I also recommend “Sunbrella” fabric, or microfiber if you are purchasing white furniture.
