Warning: Oriental Rugs and Leaky Potted Plants are a Bad Combination

I recently helped a customer in Guilford with some oriental rug cleaning. She showed me a hand woven oriental that had been passed down through several generations. She used to keep a potted plant on one corner, but the plant leaked and caused the fibers to rot. Be very carefulwhen with potted plants on rugs and always make sure that you have a tray beneath the pot to protect the rug.
